What Erickson Works is
No dead ends.
Most software stops at a pretty picture. You still have to figure out if it will cut, if the bit will fit, if the parts will assemble, and how to get a file your machine will actually run. Erickson Works is the bridge. It takes the design you have and drives it to an answer you can cut, print, or build—clean vectors, fitted parts, and files that open in the tools you already use. No dead ends. No “figure the rest out yourself.”
Vector Work
Bad files die here.
Drop in a PDF logo, an Illustrator file, or a crusty DXF and get clean SVG or DXF your laser or CNC will open. Mill-Pad does the part every other tool skips: pick your real bit, and it only pushes the curves that bit can’t follow, live, against your original sketch. You see the gain and the loss. Nudge a node if you want. Leave with a vector that machines.

Broken meshes become builds.
Inspect finds the holes and bad edges and fixes them. Cut splits a model along its real creases into clean halves with a fitted pin, flush at the seam. Pocket breaks it into color parts—eyes, a mustache, a badge—that press into matching pockets, no pins, in the order you assemble them, with print-ready tolerances. Plan the colors against real filament and save every part to the job.

The wooden flag everyone wants and nobody has a clean file for.
Start from a template or your own design, pick the woods, and dial the wave—ripples, depth, direction—while the 3D flag updates in front of you. Download the vectors, check the cut sheet, and export a Fusion package you can run, or send the flag straight into Inlay Studio for an inlaid design.

V-carve inlays that fit, even on a curve.
Open a model or a flag from Flag Studio, draw on the surface or drop in an SVG, pick the V-bit, and set the depth and glue gap. Inlay Studio builds every pocket and plug together, checks the fit before you cut, and lets you stack layers for multi-color work. Preview the assembly and download the full CNC pack—plugs, assembly, drawings.

A photo becomes pieces you can cut.
Import the image, map the colors into real veneer pieces, and trace them into clean vectors you can still edit. Pick stock from the library or your own, add sand or depth shading, and the studio nests every piece onto leaves that fit your laser bed—trim, spacing, and grain handled. It remembers what you’ve already cut so you don’t waste veneer. Export SVG or DXF, leaf by leaf or all at once.

Any idea, cut-ready.
Rectangular or hex grids, your own shape, a name in interlocking letters, or a panel of interlocking birds, fish, and lizards in two materials. Shape the tabs, then run the cut check for your laser or CNC bit so the joints actually fit. Download clean SVG or DXF and start cutting.

Every job in one place.
Start a project, pull models and vectors from your library, and open them in the right studio. Recent work shows a live preview, and one click puts you back in the last tool with your settings still there. Keep STL, 3MF, OBJ, SVG, and DXF in a shared library and spin up a new project from any of them.
